CASE 1


DIAGNOSIS:
An 18-year-old patient with seborrheic skin. She presented plenty of comedones in nasal, malar and chin areas. The skin had spots that, according to the patient, appeared after exposure to intense sun radiation.

PROCEDURE: Microdermoabrasion
Applications: three
Time between sessions: once every 8 days

RESULTS:
Seborrhea improved
Pores closed
Comedones disappeared
Clearer skin and epidermic spots faded.

CASE 2

 

DIAGNOSIS:
A 55-year-old patient. Consultation about aging, face flaccidity, excessive wrinkles and grooves in lower facial third. Dry skin. In the upper lip central area there was scar sequelae due to a radiotherapy treatment ten years before.

PROCEDURE: Microdermoabrasion
Applications: eight
Time between sessions: once every 25 days

RESULTS:
Improvement in facies regarding shade and moisturizing.
Satisfied patient due to the results achieved and procedure tolerance.
Reduction of nasogenian groove’s depth as well as perilabial wrinkles.

CASE 3

 

DIAGNOSIS:
A 25 year old patient consulted about unaesthetic periareolar scars. Those scar sequelae were caused by open wounds after a big breasts implant. It had evolved for two years..

Time between sessions: once every 20 days

RESULTS:
Improved aspect in the periareolar area.
Scars flattening.
Patient satisfied with the procedure.

CASE 4

 

DIAGNOSIS:
A 27 year old patient who consulted about periumbilical stretchmarks. Pregnancy 11 years ago. After the interview she decided to treat stretchmarks in the supraumbilical area to evaluate results after six applications..

RESULTS:
Improvement in the overall aspect of the abdominal skin.
Significant reduction on stretchmarks.

CASE 5

 

DIAGNOSSIS:
A 24-year-old patient who suffered from burns caused by industrial alcohol two years before. She presented hypertrophied, hyperpigmented and prominent scars

PROCEDURE: Microdermoabrasion
Applications: six
Time between sessions: once every 20 days

RESULTS:
Scars’ flattening. By touch, there is no prominence or pain.
Treated area does not show hyperpigmentation.
The patient is satisfied with the results achieved. The treatment continues under the same scheme.

CASE 6

 

DIAGNOSIS:
A 28-year-old patient. Black skin. Consultation about unaesthetic scar on the side of the thigh. Dehiscent scar with borders from childhood. The patient had rejected the possibility of a surgery because of fear. The microdermoabrasion method was applied.

PROCEDURE: Depth microdermoabrasion
Applications: twelve
Monthly sessions

RESULTS:
Reepitelization in the treated area.
Patient satisfied.

CASE 7

 

DIAGNOSIS:
A 60-year-old patient. Consultation about hyperkeratosis facial wrinkles in nasal area, open pores and skin spots.

PROCEDURE: Microdermoabrasion
Applications: three
Time between session: once every 10 days

RESULTS:
Progressive improvement in hyperkeratosis area.
Clearer skin.
Less seborrheic skin and closed pores.
The patient is still under treatment.
